You’ll then receive a clear recommendation, helping you make an informed decision before committing to further work.

Our Inspection & Powerflushing Process
Inspect Your Heating System
We begin by checking the boiler operation, system pressure, radiators, valves and accessible pipework.
We’ll also discuss any problems you have noticed, such as cold radiators, uneven heating, unusual noises or slow circulation.
Carry Out Thermal Imaging
Once the heating system reaches its normal operating temperature, we use thermal imaging to assess how heat is distributed across the radiators.
This allows us to identify cold spots, uneven temperature patterns and areas that may require further investigation.
Recommend the Right Solution
We’ll explain what we have found and whether your system would benefit from a full powerflush, targeted cleaning or no further action.
Our approach is simple: inspect first and flush only when needed.
Powerflush the System
If a powerflush is recommended, we connect specialist equipment to the central heating system and circulate an appropriate cleaning solution.
The flow is periodically reversed and individual radiators are agitated to help loosen sludge and debris. We continue flushing until the water is substantially cleaner before refilling the system with fresh water.
Recommission & Complete Final Checks
Once cleaning is complete, we disconnect the equipment, add the appropriate central heating inhibitor and repressurise the system to the manufacturer’s recommended level.
We bleed the radiators, check for leaks and confirm that the boiler, controls, thermostatic valves and heating zones are operating correctly. You’ll also receive a certificate for future reference.
